Excellent. Service was fantastic. Sean, our waiter, was friendly, helpful, and very attentive. Fantastic! The food was also excellent. Best chicken parmigiana I think I’ve ever had. Highly recommend.

This is our favorite local restaurant. Whether we're dining alone, taking visitors, meeting friends or doing takeout, the Stone House has never disappointed... the entire staff appreciates everyone who walks in the door. (special shout out to Holly). Our personal favorite is the chicken fried chicken dinner; however, nothing on the menu will disappoint.

Cool ambiance outside and in. Service was excellent and it’s a warm interior providing cozy vibes on those cold days especially if you’re seated next to the fireplace. We ordered the 12 oz New York Strip which was cooked nicely, just wish there was a little more of a flavour profile but that’s personal preference. The strawberry cheesecake was phenomenal. A great place to stop and grab a bite to eat.

We celebrated our 19th anniversary here and this place didn’t disappoint. Very cozy atmosphere, food was delicious, waitress was great, and they treated us for dessert on the house! I would definitely recommend, thank you!

I came in near closing, I drive truck for a living, so I came in after a long drive and looking like it. They seated me and were prompt and friendly with their service. The clam chowder is the best I have ever had! The 8oz. sirloin was so juicy and tender! I recommend this restaurant for anyone passing through!

Spectacular Friday Night. I often whine about the restaurants in Montrose having license plates on the walls, and I'd like a nice, quiet place with a touch of class. The Stone House absolutely delivered! wonderful ambiance, not super loud music, nice staff I keep forgetting to come back, its a mistake. Prime Rib on Friday, a perfectly cooked medium rare, flavor spot-on. Vegetables were perfect, light crunch, not mush, flavorful as could be. Wait staff? friendly, smiling, nice, and not "fakey fakey" but truly seemed to be in a good mood and making the evening great. I'm thrilled, highly recommend.. Will return often. thank you

Excellent in every way, from the young lady welcoming us to the server who spoke to us in our native language and was super good!! and the burgers were super delicious! Keep it up please, it's not every day that you go to a place and find such an amazing experience. I can't speak for value because my friend paid the tab but whatever it is, it's worth every penny. Thank you so much!

Shout out to Shannon who made our first time experience terrific. Food was delish. Nice wine pour. They sat us outside when I think they actually weren’t serving due to cold weather. We had our dogs and they made it happen. Birdie was so happy she put a flower on her nose. Thanks y’all!

My husband and I love good food. We cook a lot and travel a lot trying all sorts of restaurants and eateries. We are high standard foodies. Before coming here, we were skeptical. But the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed on Sunday, so we came here. Everything exceeded our expectation, even the sweet potato fries. Food is well seasoned and NOT salty. The ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare which I specifically asked for. Our table server Bethany was attentive. It was an excellent experience. We did ask if their steak is local. Yep, 100% Colorado beef!
